This is one of those rare ‘Cross had an idea and wanted to do it’ scenes. Drawing it first then adding in the dialogue. Kris supplying the dialogue for the last seven panels.

Probably the one Royalty strip that gave me the most problems. It never felt like it gelled to me while I was making it. Fortunately in the end it somehow worked. ~ Cross
Panel count wise, technically this is the longest strip, though it took one less page of drawing than scene 51.
There are times where a strip makes you hate it and love it when making it. This is one of those, I loved painting the view out the window, but ended up hating that purple wall. ~Cross
Was pretty happy with the pacing and facial expressions of Kassie in the first few panels of this strip. ~Cross
Was happy with the Presidents office when it was in the pencil phase then quickly began to dislike it as I painted it. Came out too pasty for my tastes, but it still works ~Cross
Good thing I’m enjoying painting fire. Because Kris keeps writing it in!! oh and got a new waterbrush…life is SO much easier ~Cross
Originally this was supposed to be part of the previous strip. But since I had another project to do alongside it, we split it to allow me more time. ~Cross
had a lot of fun with this one, especially when it came to body language. And that jaw drop. SO proud of that. Actually squeezed in another panel there just to prolong it. ~Cross
